I loved writing Nerves of Steel and a few people absolutely loved reading it. It wasn’t easy to pigeonhole, though, and didn’t find a market. Before I started writing the sequel (Steel Reforged) I had the idea to write a few chapters of Player Manager and test the waters on that concept.
You know what happened next – PM blew up and Steel Reforged may never get written. I got a cool cover for it, at least.
